Anita Goodesign Workshops

We all love Anita Goodesign embroideries! These fun classes are open to everyone who is interested in embroidery (whether you have a machine or not). Most classes include a video demonstration of an embroidery project. Bring your machine to make the project or just observe. Any machine is welcome; designs are offered in every format. User must be familiar with their machine.

Customer Choice: Baby Pinwheel

This 3-D pinwheel project makes a fun little 34 x 43” quilt, or a cute wall-hanging for any new baby’s nursery. It can be can be made from 6 fat quarters, a charm pack, or scraps from your stash.

Finishing Touches

Do you want to learn how to hand bind your quilt?  In this class you will learn how to hand bind including corners, hexagons, and scalloped edges.  You will also be shown how to make scallops and prairie points. 

Learn to Quilt

If you are new to quilting, or simply want to update your quilting skills, this series of 6 classes will help you get started. You will learn how to use a rotary cutter and ruler, accurate measuring and piecing, thread and needle choices, use of various machine feet, types of batting, stitch-in-the-ditch quilting, and how to bind. By the end of the series you will have made a 40" x 40" quilt and you will be a quilter!

Claudia Dinnell Made in America

Pinwheel Party

Join us for an all day Quilt-a-thon and pattern debut! We will have a raffle, door prizes and snacks! You will have a beautiful quilt top in no time with a little paper piecing combined with a fabulous focus fabric. Triangles on a Roll make the piecing process fast and accurate. You will see this quilt in a variety of sizes and settings. This example is just one of many and once you learn how to paper piece the pinwheels, the possibilities are endless!

Sew For the Love of It Day

Come and sew with us for charity! We’ll provide the classroom and project supplies for you to sew for One Dress at a Time, Project Linus, or One Million Pillowcase Challenge (pillowcases for local childrens’ hospitals).
