What is a “Basic Sewing Kit”?
Many of our class and mastery supply lists request that you bring a “Basic Sewing Kit”.
Here’s what you should have in yours.
- Good quality fabric scissors
- Small scissors or thread snips
- 6” seam gauge or ruler
- Seam ripper
- Straight pins
- Fabric marker
- Needles for your machine
- Pen and paper for notes
- Anything you commonly use for a fun day of sewing

This class applies to both Editor Plus & Designer Plus levels of the Bernina Embroidery Software V6. This class is a prerequisite to Software #2.
Things to Bring: These Version 6 classes are lecture/demo. All you need to bring is paper, pencil, and Owners Workbook. Laptops may be brought to class, however, the instructor cannot take time from class to deal with computer or software problems that may arise.
